Dexter & Delia

In May, we found our perfect bonded pair to add to our family, Delia and Dexter, 5-year-old sister/brother Jack Russell Terriers.

Delia loves for us to chase her around the house to try to steal her squeaky toy. Dexter loves doing laps around our large yard, chasing squirrels. Both love to sit on our laps for cuddle/TV time. At bedtime, they cozy up together in 1 doggie bed at the foot of our bed, even though there are 2 beds on the floor.

There’s nothing better than being greeting at the door with their wagging tails and kisses at the end of a workday.

Meet Dexter & Delia! They are sibling 5 year old Jack Russell terriers and are a bonded pair. These two are so friendly & playful and just love their playtime! Delia is spayed & up to date on all shots. Both pups are house trained and crate trained. If you are looking for two sweet loves, here they are!

Delia is best friends with Dexter. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!

Lolita

Meet Lolita! Lolita came to Renee’s Rescues from a commercial breeder in Pennsylvania. She is 4-years-old and spent her entire life as she knew it solely to breed puppies. Although super sweet, her interactions with humans (socialization) has been extremely minimal. The Amish farm where she spent her life had over 100 dogs. She received little attention. She loves humans and will wag her tail just because she is in your presence.

Lela

Meet Lela! She is the sweetest little girl, just a little bit shy. At the age of 14, she was dumped at the shelter in NJ. Her owner went off to college and sadly, no other family members would take her. We have a soft spot for seniors and one look at Lela, we knew we had to save her. She’s great with kids, cats & other dogs and once she warms up, is extremely friendly! Please take a chance on this sweet senior!

Ginger

Ginger is ready to snuggle with you. She is a purebred 1.5 year-old Bulldog weighing in at 45 lbs. The challenge? Fecal incontinence as a result of poor breeding. That’s right. It’s exactly what you’re thinking. She must wear a diaper and be on a special diet to keep her stools firm. But don’t fret. She’s charming and LOVES human attention. You just need to provide unconditional love. She is said to get along with other dogs, cats and children. Originally purchased from a breeder and assumed to be in great health with that high price tag, Ginger is now in our hands. She is the perfect poster girl for Adopt Don’t Shop!

Thor

This is a heartbreaking situation. The owner passed away unexpectedly and left his two beautiful Labs behind. Thor is a 12-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever and Beenie is a 6-year-old black Labrador Retriever. They are bonded and we think it is only fair to try and find a new home for them as a joined pair. They are both friendly, loving and good with other dogs. TBD with cats. Let’s help their hearts heal from losing their daddy!

JJ

A former service dog and current snuggle bug, we fell in love with JJ the moment we met him. JJ is a patient companion for his new big brother Buster, a hearing and seeing impaired Shih Tzu rescue from Washington, DC.

JJ is delightfully bossy and won’t take no for an answer when it comes to cuddling up against us every moment of the day. At night, he soothes us to sleep with his gentle snoring, and in the morning, he helps coax us out of bed with his affectionate licking. Like his brother, JJ is happily spoiled with plenty of bones to eat, a cozy bed to sleep in, and a mountain of doggie toys to call his own. Buster & JJ 2JJ's family

Pugsley is part of a bonded pair with Minnie. They are both 8 year old Pugs who were surrendered together & really need to stay together. They’re both house trained & crate trained and get along fine with other dogs. Total cuddle bugs! They would love a new family for the holidays!!!

Hurley is a 4-year-old Beagle looking for a home for the howl-idays. He came to us because his owner became ill & could no longer care for him. He’s moderate energy & a real sweetheart! He is house trained, crate trained, great with children and other dogs. He has not been observed around cats. Neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
