Earlier this year, we started pulling adult dogs & puppies from a home breeding business gone bad. Sadly, it became an overwhelming hoarding situation so they reached out to us for help. Dozens of rescued pups later, we are hearing so many heartwarming success stories. Some of the dogs did great right away, while others were truly traumatized, scared & had no trust in humans. Seeing them now thrive makes us so happy. One of our most scared little guys was Fyodor. He had a really rough start but he has really come around. Just look at him now!
On Sunday, March 21st, another Paint Your Pet fundraiser was held with all the proceeds benefitting the rescue. What a huge success! Given these strange & uneasy times we are in, we really appreciate everyone who came out to have a fun afternoon and support a great cause (masked & socially distanced, of course). 100% of the proceeds go directly to the animals. Special thank you to Nancy for coordinating this event and ensuring that it was fun, beautiful & worthwhile! She put so much effort & energy into this event and we can’t thank her, and everyone who participated, enough!!
We were contacted by someone who said their friend needed help. Apparently, she had started breeding dogs and was now overwhelmed with 50!! While we obviously are not fans of this practice, we needed to help the dogs. Since last week, 16 have arrived in rescue with more to come! Welcome pups!! Soon you will all be in loving homes!
