Say hi to Woody! Woody might be an older dog but he absolutely doesn’t let that stop him from living his life. He is a 7 year old Hound mix who came to us through one of our shelter partners. He loves to go on walks and could spend hours walking circles in the yard to make sure he sniffs everything!  Inside the house, he’s always curious and wants to know what his people are doing.  Plus he’ll always be sure to let you know if a person or car is going by.

Woody has a big personality and is definitely a goofball who will keep you entertained even if he appears shy at first. He does need someone who will be patient with him and help him learn his manners, like not counter surfing or getting into the food bins outside of meal times. So far he has been responding well to gentle correction when he does something wrong. He might not be the best around young children because of his tendency to jump on people, but he does love kids. He also has been fine with the cats in the house and only bothers them at meal times when he will try to steal their food.

Woody is neutered and up to date on vaccines.  He does dribble a little when excited and sometimes will wet his belly bands when he’s napping.
