Meet Twist, a six-month-old spayed female Akita/Husky mix! Twist shares her foster home with older kids (7, 9, 13) and other dogs, aged 1, 2 and 3. Because she fixates on birds and squirrel friends, we proactively seek a cat-free home due to her assumed high prey drive. No cats, please.
Routine and structure will be your best friend; these tools will enable her to be the best version of herself! She’s not a candidate for a mobile home or an apartment setting. Twist is already 45 lbs at six months, and she’s not done growing yet.
Twist is house-trained and crate-trained. She is HIGH ENERGY and wears out the resident doggy siblings at her foster home. Great in car rides – will lay down after the first 5 min.
Twist is incredibly loyal and loves her foster family so profoundly!
