Meet Shyla! She is a 5 year old, female Maltese/Yorkie mix. Shyla is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines.

Shyla has come along way on her journey from her days in the Texas puppy mill. While she is reserved with us humans, She LOVES other dogs and would do best in a home with other like sized dog companions.
Shyla would be best served with patient, dog savvy owners that will help her navigate this new phase of her life. She is very curious about what I’m doing and is always a few feet away. She always gets excited when we return to the home and greets us with a happy dance.
Shyla is the perfect portable size weighing in at 10 lbs. She has mastered going to potty outside and on the designated pee pad in our dining room. Her little eyes are so stunning and soulful. She is a good eater with a soft food diet as she has had all but 5 teeth removed.
Shyla likes walks in the yard to explore with the resident dogs. She enjoys the comfort of sleeping in a dog bed in our bedroom at night and in the den during the day. Her coat is low maintenance and doesn’t seem to shed at all.
As Shyla heals, I’m excited to get to know her personality. It’s a process to earn her trust as well as all the other pups that came from this mill in Texas.
