Meet Savannah & Annie!! These girls are the sweetest bonded mama/daughter duo. Annie is 3 years old and Savannah is 9 years old. They are Amish mill rescues who are learning to live in a house instead of a barn. They both love to give kisses once they trust you (which is in 3 seconds for Annie) and want nothing more than to be right next to their humans. They are great with other dogs, big and small, also cats, small animals and don’t even mind the farm animals next door or the deer that visit the yard. They are fantastic with kids of any age and definitely love children. They have discovered that they LOVE stuffies, toys and treats. Annie has her emotional support pink bunny that goes everywhere with her. Savannah likes to snuggle shoes.

Annie has gotten pretty good at playing fetch with a ball outside and is working on “sit”. They are almost totally potty trained and completely crate trained and sleep happily in side by side crates overnight. During the day they usually curl up together in sunny spot on the rug after a big wrestling match in the yard. They do require a fully fenced in yard – they cannot be tied out or leash walked. Annie is slowly learning to walk on a leash but Savannah is still very scared of anything attached to a collar or harness. They know their names and respond immediately. Savannah relies completely on Annie for her courage and confidence and follows her anywhere. She will hide under any tree or bush handy outside if she gets startled. Savannah does get carsick. Annie is the happiest girl – her tail is always wagging and she’s quick to come push her mom out of the way for any extra pets and snuggles. Annie does like to dig holes – so if you like a perfectly manicured yard she’s definitely a good fit! But if you need landscaping or bushes removed, large holes dug to plant new ones, or grass removal – she’s your girl. Annie needs some supervision and redirect when it comes to learning what not to eat (chew toys yes, books no) but she’s learning quickly how to dog. Savannah loves head pets and scratches and will lean into you for more. They are both very smart, extremely loving ladies once they trust you. They would love to have a big yard to play in, people to play with, and snuggle up with their humans afterwards. Both are spayed, up to date on shots & microchipped.
