SADIE MAE IS NOW PENDING ADOPTION!

PLEASE NOTE: Fosters have 14 days to decide if they wish to “foster fail” and adopt their foster dog.

Sadie Mae is an adoptable 1-year-old Hound mix. She comes to us in partnership with Unchain America after she was dumped by her former owner.  We’re hopeful to match her up with a loving family who will never abandon her again. Sadie currently weighs 56lbs. She’s spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and tested negative for Heartworm disease.

Here’s what her foster mom says: “Sadie loves attention and cuddles, as well as running in the yard, playing fetch with a ball and playing tug. She enjoys puppy play with he foster sister, but it took her a little time to trust another dog. She’s good with dog savvy kitties but only needs guidance to not chase ones who run away from her. She loves people and is good with children; however, can be high energy and excitable where she may accidentally knock over small children. Sadie is still learning to leash walk and some manners. She would do well in a home that will be patient and willing to continue teaching her. She may be full sized but she is all puppy maturity wise. She is house trained and crate trained. Sadie dislikes getting her nails trimmed. She bonds to humans very quickly and can be possessive and try to protect them.”

This beauty is long overdue and hopeful for a family or special person to call her very own. Could that be with you?
