If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly, housebroken, crate-trained, food motivated love-bug, then look no further than Roscoe! Roscoe is an 11-year-old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix who has the best traits of both breeds. He is smart, loyal, and adorable! Roscoe came into rescue due to no fault of his own except for a change in circumstances in his family’s life. He is super well behaved, 100% house-broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and super obedient. He did great for his nail trim and bath. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. Roscoe gets along fabulous with the four small dogs in his foster home and brings zero drama to the pack, BUT, if the other dogs start barking, he will join in… but he is very easily settled if you ask him to stop. Roscoe is showing prey interest in the cat in his foster home, so we suggest a home without cats. He has been known to be fine with small children. Roscoe does have a heart murmur that requires medication twice daily. His heart condition does cause him to cough at times, particularly when excited, so he would do best in a low-key environment.
