Meet Riley! A purebred, spayed, 3-year-old Great Dane. Riley needs a home with NO other pets. She must be the ONLY PET in her home.
Sweet Riley absolutely loves humans and thinks it’s her job to be a nanny to small humans….children. Riley enjoys chewing on a bone here and there. If you allow her to just sit with you, this gentle giant’s heart is content!
She is trained not to get on furniture without a blanket so if you leave a blanket on something that means it is ok for her to sit there. She’s had professional dog training and has excellent manners. Riley is said to have a heart of gold! She just doesn’t like other animals and needs to live as the only 4-legged family member in a home.
Because of her size at 135-lbs, it’s imperative that she finds a forever family in a house, not an apartment or mobile home setting.
Our rescue does require a home visit to ensure the safe placement of all our canine friends. If you live in a house with no animals and would like to express interest in Riley, please submit a pre-adoption application. We are a foster-based rescue in New Castle County, DE. As such, we do not have a physical facility for you to meet her.
