Rhodey (aka Ziggy) is a shy, 9-year-old Chihuahua mix that came to us from a hoarding property. Since he was the most senior dog in the group we took in, he is still processing his new life and everything that has come along with it. He is crate trained, loves chewing on bones and going on walks. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Rhodey is not the most “lovey dovey” affectionate dog but will warm up to you once he’s comfortable. He seems the happiest around other dogs. He will not thrive as an only pet and needs to go to a home with another 4-legged friend. We recently learned he’s good with cats, too.

Rhodey gravitates towards animals that share the same energy level and vibe. For example, he would not be a fan of young rambunctious pups jumping onto his back or abruptly in his face. Our entire rescue team is rooting for Rhodey, and we want him to have his “Gotcha Day”
