Say hello to Rhodey! Rhodey is an approx. 8 year old Chihuahua mix who came to us as part of the Project Green hoarding group this summer. Since he was the most senior dog in the group, Rhodey needed a little more time to adjust to his new life. He is crate trained, loves chewing on bones and going on walks. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. Rhodey is not the most affectionate dog but will warm up to you once he’s comfortable. He does well with other dogs but hasn’t been around cats. Rhodey definitely needs to be in a home with another dog who is also calm & well mannered. He would not be good as an only dog. He would do well in a home with someone older or someone home a lot who is able to take time to bond with him. Rhodey would do best with children over 12 years old. He is the last dog from the group who has not been adopted! While he has been in a wonderful foster home, it’s time for him to find a family of his own.
