PUGSLEY IS NOW PENDING ADOPTION!!
Welcome Puglsey! This adorable little guy found himself in our care through no fault of his own. He was dumped, found as a stray and we luckily were able to get him into foster care. “Puggers” as we are affectionately calling him, is a sweet soul that loves to be with people. He is thought to be about 10 years old and is very spunky when out for a walk. His favorite thing is to cuddle close and feel secure.
Puglsey has a few health concerns due to neglect. He has a skin infection that is being treated with antibiotics. He also has ear drops to help clear up an infection in his ears. Due to the nature of his large eyes, he has been given eye gel to help with redness. Puggers doesn’t let these ailments get him down. He takes it all in stride as he trusts that we are doing the best for him.
The ideal home for Pugsley has someone that wants an amazing companion. He will always greet you with his funny “pug” snorts and noises. Puggers sleeps with the foster’s our 8 yr old son. He loves to snuggle. He also enjoys taking walks with him and watching TV. He seems to be somewhat vision and hearing impaired, so only friendly furry companions would be best, as he may not be able to quickly read the body language of an aggressive dog. He has been doing fine with the two resident chihuahua mixes and he also doesn’t seem to mind the two guinea pigs at our home. He has not been tested with cats, but would expect the same non-reaction to them too.
