Hello! I’m Prince of Barkness! My rescue wanted me to have a fun name because I didn’t have a name. You see, I have lived my whole life in a puppy mill. I was only used as a stud for breeding other Pomeranians. Now that I’m rescued with some really nice people, I’m hopeful to experience what love is all about! I’ve always dreamed of living inside a warm house. It looks like my dreams have finally come true! I can’t wait to meet you. See you soon!

Prince of Barkness is a 6-year-old purebred Pomeranian. He was rescued from an Amish farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania after he could no longer be used. Because Prince has only known a life outdoors, he is slowly learning potty training in his foster home. He’s really come out of his shell and absolutely adores any bit of attention you can spare. Our friends at “Paws and People Too” grooming transformed him into such a handsome guy! He looked so defeated the day we got him. Prince gets along with other dogs and would do fine in a home with children, if necessary. We have not observed him around cats; however his desire for human snuggles outweighs any chance of a high prey drive. Please apply if you’d like to be considered to give him a furever home. He will be neutered, microchipped and vaccinated prior to official adoption. He tested negative for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia and Anaplasmosis.
