Welcoming Peanut to rescue! This 3-year-old neutered male Hound mix is dog-friendly and full of joy! He’s going to make someone very happy. He weighs 45 lbs and would be an excellent addition to an active family that loves to enjoy walks, camping, couch snuggles, or anything within that realm! So far, Peanut has done well around children of varied ages; however, he may inadvertently knock down a little human, so something to keep in consideration. He’s intelligent and eager to learn!
Peanut came to us in partnership with Second Chance Pet Adoptions. He came from an open-admissions shelter where he was at risk due to capacity. Peanut has a clean bill of health and has acclimated wonderfully in a foster setting with dogs of varied sizes. He was just neutered and tested negative for Heartworm disease, He has not been evaluated around cats yet. Please submit an application if you think he may be a good fit!
