Dog 🐶 friendly?
Off leash in a yard, very protective and territorial. She would benefit from more socialization and we are consulting with a trainer to do so!
On leash, she will bark at passing dogs. She got to meet two shiba inus on leashes, and she eventually settled to engage with them appropriately.
Cat 🐈 friendly?: she tends to pursue but a playful, dog savvy cat may be ok. Would have to do a meet & greet
Kid friendly?: untested
Youngest age of children you’d recommend: unsure, due to her age/energy level and size, probably 10+
House 🏠 broken?: yes
Crate trained?: dislikes the crate but can be coaxed in, needs some work
Leash trained?: rudimentary skills; very trainable and treat motivated
Travel well in the 🚗?: easy to get in. Is always eager to get out. Houdini tendencies
Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): varies. Post crate or car is a 10. After exercise, she will totally settle and snuggle to a 2 . 2 because she follows “her person” around and only remains on the couch if you are there, too!
Fenced yard required?: Yes, would be very helpful for her to expend energy
Ideal family dynamic/living situation: familiarity with pittie personality
Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: chews on filled bone, kong with peanut butter , lamb, and rope toy. Outside : zoomies, ball retrieving and chasing birds /squirrels
