PLEASE NOTE: Fosters have 14 days to decide if they wish to “foster fail” and adopt their foster dog.
Mister Scrappy, 4.5 month old, male spaniel/poodle/pit-bull terrier mix (mom is Molly Sunshine)
Currently 18lbs, likely 35-40lbs fully grown
Any special medical 🏥 needs?: none! He’s neutered, microchipped, up to date on required vaccines, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
Dog 🐶 friendly?: yes!
Cat 🐱 friendly?: indifferent, he’s spent a few days with a temporary foster who had a cat, and there were no issues.
Kid friendly?: yes! All children should be supervised with pets, especially puppies.
House 🏠 broken?: yes! However, at this age, it is crucial to maintain a schedule. A change of environment could come with a temporary regression.
Crate trained?: yes! He is used to being crated with his brother nearby so being crated alone may be an adjustment
Leash trained?: yes!
Travel well in the 🚗?: yes!
Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): 5/10, loves to play with other dogs, but equally as happy cuddling with his human on the couch
Fenced yard required?: Not required, but prefer preferred.
Ideal family dynamic/living situation: any family that is willing and committed to continue basic training that all puppies require and give him the love and attention he deserves!
Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: playing, walking, cuddling, you name it! He’s pretty content doing it all.
Anything special about your foster pup that would make them stand out: Scrappy is the more outgoing pup of the litter, loves pretty much anyone he meets!
