Meet Mia! Mia is a spayed female German Shepherd who joins Renee’s Rescues, Inc. Mia celebrated her 5th birthday last Friday! She weighs 85 lbs.
Mia comes to rescue through no fault of her own. Her human mom truly loves her but life circumstances require Mia to find a new home. Our founder attended high school with Mia’s human mom; she has entrusted us to oversee sweet Mia and was/is incredibly loved.
Mia has done wonderfully around children in the past without issue. Just like most Shepherds, they’re protective in nature and will bark to alert of a stranger. Mia is no different. She is a loyal, loving dog who enjoys walks or running in the backyard. She’s both crate-trained and house-trained.
Mia has never lived with cats or other dogs but her owner said she’s never become aggressive when seeing them outside. She will
be microchipped, updated on any vaccines and we will run bloodwork to test for diseases.
