❤Bonded Buddies: A Quest to Stay Together
Meet Max & Caesar! These handsome besties came to us when their former owner became too sick to care for them. In addition to being well cared for throughout their life, they’re certainly behaved, well-balanced dogs displaced through no fault of their own.
Max is a 9-year-old, purebred Maltese weighing 16-lbs. Although he’s vision impaired, don’t let that fool you! He’s very adventurous and eager to explore. Max is diabetic and receives 2 simple, easy insulin injections. One in the morning and the other before bed. We’d describe Max as loving, polite, adventurous, and overall a happy-go-lucky dog.
He‘s spent his entire life with Caesar by his side.
Caesar is also 9-years-old. A sweet, Bichon Frisé/Poodle mix who‘s just a few pounds heavier than his “brother.” Caesar seems to find comfort in keeping Max in close distance and will look for him once he wakes from a nap. Caesar balances Max’s adventurous “explore the world” attitude. Together, they offer a unique balance for adopters seeking small dogs to blend into a relaxed home environment.
While finding a forever home for two bonded senior dogs is quite a tall order, we believe their dispositions really make them shine! If you’re looking to adopt dogs with low to moderate energy and virtually no shedding, they would be ideal candidates. If you’d like to meet this duo, please submit a pre-adoption application and we will be in touch! Both dogs are Heartworm negative, neutered, house trained, microchipped and current on vaccinations. All they need is you!
