Adoptable Maddox! 4.5 month old male Lab/German shorthair pointer mix (yes… he’s Monty’s brother!). Neutered, microchipped, up to date on required vaccines and ready to be your new 4 legged family member! Maddox is the kind of boy who will happily climb into your lap, settle in, and watch the world go by like he has nowhere else he’d rather be. He has a wonderful mix of playful puppy energy and thoughtful charm: one minute he’s active and curious, and the next he’s sitting quietly, taking in everything around him as if he’s pondering life’s biggest mysteries. He is a private little gentleman when it comes to his yard business, which can make cleanup a bit of a treasure hunt, but his foster family respects his need for discretion.
Every morning, Maddox is the first to race upstairs for kisses and snuggles, and truly, there is no better way to start the day. He already knows to sit for food and treats, listens well, and is eager to please. While he may grumble a little during a good wrestling match with his brother, he is not a barker. He is also the steady companion of a large Lab, so big dogs do not faze him at this age. Maddox loves to explore, so a nice-sized yard would be a wonderful fit for his adventurous spirit. He does well on leash, too, and has all the makings of a terrific hiking buddy and loyal best friend.
