Meet Macy! Macy is a 12-year-old Jack Russell mix who came into rescue through partnership with Cecil County Animal Services. Macy is great with other dogs but can be a little guarded around food and likes her own space when fed…and when other dogs are eating. We don’t know how she is with kids but she would probably be fine with children that are able to treat her gently since she seems a little arthritic and cannot hear. She doesn’t seem to have a huge drive for the cat in her foster home but she is a terrier, so probably wouldn’t trust her 100%.
Macy is house trained and crate trained but has had a few accidents. She does bark a little when initially crated or separated in another room but settles. Her favorite pastimes…sleeping, snuggling, baths, following her people around, “helping” in the kitchen. She would love nothing more than to be a lap dog!! She is getting over flea dermatitis and some tapeworms, but is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and heartworm negative. Macy is 100% love bug!!
