Lucy

Size: Medium
Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd mix

Foster or forever home wanted for sweet Lucy…

She’s a young, fun and vibrant gal ready to live life to the fullest. Anything you do, we are pretty sure Lucy will be happy doing too….long walks in the park, car rides just to feel the wind blowing in her face, dinner & a movie night…the possibilities are endless. Sadly Lucy is stuck in boarding since the rescue is foster base with no physical shelter — no dog deserves to live that kind of life. Lucy was an owner surrender and has had to adjust to a lot of changes in her young life. We know Lucy would blossom if someone would only give her a chance. She’s a 2 year old German Shephard mix, spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines.

Lucy has been friendly with other dogs, but sadly did not get along with the dogs in her recent foster home. If you are interested and fostering and have a canine companion, dog meets can be arranged to see if the dogs are compatible. And just like people, sometimes it takes time for dogs to build a great relationship. So slow intros in the home, pack walks, and crate and rotate in the beginning while everyone gets to know each other…this can be the key to success. A home with no other pets would also be ok. If you have children in the family, the best way to see if she would be a good fit is for everyone to meet her. Lucy is looking for a new best friend or family who will help her be the best dog she can be!
