Sadly Lovey’s happy ending was short lived 😢 while she did so well with the young kids at their initial meet & greet, living with the typical noise and fast paced environment of small children proved to be too stressful for her. She became anxious and as a result, protective of her toys. We feel it’s in everyone’s best interest if her furever home does not include resident children, or kids under 13 that visit frequently.

Ideal family dynamic/living situation: Anyone wanting a loving companion who will stay by your side and welcome you home with lots of kisses and tail wags! Lovey is content to lay next to you and watch a movie or go on a nice walk. She loves her stuffed animals, and will proudly bring them to you. Lovey is used to being free to roam the house when no one is home; she has not been in a crate and hasn’t had any issues. Lovey would live her best life in a home with older children (teenagers) or no children. Lovey is used to sharing her space with another dog and several cats.
