LEO IS NOW PENDING ADOPTION!

PLEASE NOTE:  Fosters have 14 days to decide if they wish to “foster fail” and adopt their foster dog.

Meet Leo! Leo is a 9-year-old, male, 19 lb. Poodle mix who came from a family that couldn’t keep him due to housing status. He is a perfect dog that loves to smile!

From his current foster:

– As an older dog, Leo likes to lay around – on the couch, dog bed, or any blanket.
– He is house-trained with zero accidents.  He is crate-trained and we have him sleep in his crate, with the door open, in a gated area; however, I’m sure he’d be fine sleeping on the couch. He eats well, and has only barked a couple of times.
– He was matted when he arrived and we’ve trimmed him but he’ll be professionally groomed soon.  He cooperated 100% with his bath and my grooming. He lets you touch his teeth and nails.  He hasn’t had his vet visit yet, but has no known health issues, and will be neutered in February.
– Leo walks on a leash (we don’t have a fenced yard) but isn’t a fan of walking; he likes to do his business and come back in, but the cold could have something to do with that.
– Although he is supposed to be a Poodle mix, Leo does shed (white fuzz on blankets/clothes).
– He hasn’t been around dogs, cats, or children but he is so laid back we think he’d be fine.

Leo is up to date on shot and will be neutered & microchipped prior to adoption.  He would be perfect for someone who is looking for a dog that lays around, snuggles, and smiles at you every time you enter a room.  Don’t pass him up!
