LEE IS NOW PENDING ADOPTION!
PLEASE NOTE: Fosters have 14 days to decide if they wish to “foster fail” and adopt their foster dog.
Please welcome our 24 dogs from what we refer to as Project Azalea! All of these dogs were rescued from the South where they were living in poor conditions in an overwhelming situation along with HUNDREDS of other dogs. Multiple rescues stepped up to get all these pups to a safe environment & work to get them forever homes!
Meet Lee! Lee is a 2 year old, 8 lb., neutered, male Chihuahua with a heart that is bigger than his small size would suggest. Lee is an exceptionally nice Chihuahua who has never seen a human he doesn’t want to greet, and he loves kids. He enjoys spending time with other dogs and would love a doggy sibling to play tug of war and wrestle with. He is not the biggest fan of cats and will unfortunately bark nonstop at them when he sees them. He enjoys going for walks and can even keep up with the big dog in his foster home. He is picking up house training pretty well and does well when crated.
Lee was born with a defect in his left eye and is unable to see out of it, but he gets along just fine without it! It doesn’t bother him and other than looking a little funny he has no issues with it. He is currently heartworm positive, but is already undergoing treatment through the rescue & is expected to be good as new!
