Meet Lamb! Lamb is an 8-year old Terrier-Poodle mix, we think. She came to us in partnership with Cecil County Animal Services. Lamb has a history of being a little skittish, but she is gaining confidence every day. She is a very sweet little girl, who is looking for affection and space to run & explore. A secure fenced-in yard is a must. Her favorite activity is to go outside and run and run . . . explore every inch of the yard. Her house training is going very well, with very few accidents — which have only happened when we were late letting her out. She’s good at letting you know when she has to go outside.
She is fine meeting new people, and good with other dogs. We do recommend her to be an only child, for she needs and deserves to be lathered with affection and acceptance. We don’t think she got much of this in the past, but she is very quick to respond in kind to love and affection, and adjusts well to new surroundings. Someone who would be home a lot would be ideal for our little Lamb.
Lamb does have a terrier type personality, in that when she’s not napping, she is energetic, active, and a great little hunter. She’s an excellent watch dog.
