🎙️ tap••tap••tap 🔊 Hello? Is anyone out there? 🥺 My name is Johnny and I’m a 50lb mixed breed cutie hoping to find my lifetime Valentine! You see, I came to the rescue a few months ago. I’m dog friendly & cat friendly, too! Families often want small, younger puppies and apply for them a lot. I try to not take it paw-sonal but sometimes I wish it was me. 😔 At just 9 months old, I’m still a pup myself. That’s gotta count for something, right? Since coming to the rescue, I’m learning how to be a proper pup. I’m a late bloomer but even more eager to make you proud! When I first arrived at the rescue, I didn’t know how to play differently with humans – did you know they don’t have fur to protect their skin? My foster dad teaches me to be “easy” and gentle when taking the ball. Routine and structure make me feel secure. My foster dad tells me that one day someone else will see all my good qualities and pick me to be their TOP DOG!
To recap, I’m dog friendly & cat friendly. If there are kids, older kids 8 + would be best. I’m not aggressive, I just don’t want to accidentally knock down any little humans if I get excited. I’m house-trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I am high energy. I need an active family with a fenced-in yard. I will not chew up your Pottery Barn throw rug. I love to snuggle.

My sniffer gets carried away with all the new smells! I just want to follow my nose but at times can zig-zag in my pursuit of smelling every blade of grass while on leash. I’ll be here waiting to be your Valentine!
