Meet Honey Boo Boo—Honey for short 💕
Honey is a sweet 8 year old, female Beagle with a gentle heart. She currently weighs 19 lbs. Found as a stray and likely a former breeder, she is learning that life inside a home can be safe and wonderful. While her past may be a mystery, her instincts are pure Beagle.
Honey has been spayed and had a dental cleaning. She is working on her housebreaking routine and is making progress with frequent potty breaks and crate time when her foster family is away.
She sleeps well in her crate, but during the day, Honey would much rather be right next to her person on the couch—or outside sniffing to her heart’s content. She loves soft blankets, burrowing, cozy naps, and walks.
A fenced yard would be ideal for this little hound so she can explore, sniff, and track all the imaginary treasures her Beagle nose can find.
Honey was temp fostered with other dogs and did fine. In her current foster home, she enjoys walks and meeting people and friendly dogs. She was a shelter and vet office favorite and it’s easy to see why! 💗
Honey would do best with an experienced hound family who can provide patience, a calm routine, and lots of love. Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Honey is ready to show someone just how special she is!
