Meet Holly Belle! Darling Holly Belle came to us from an open-admissions shelter who has to sadly euthanize for space. She is a 10-month-old Feist/Lab mix. Holly Belle’s time was up and had not been adopted or pulled by a rescue partner due to having demodex mange. Demodex mange is not contagious and can be treated under veterinary care. Dr. Teri Shultz let me know she could definitely treat so we put the wheels in motion and got her.
Holly Belle is currently in foster care with one of our regular foster families well-versed in caring for dogs needing a little extra medical TLC.
We wanted to help this sweet babe and she is now with us! She goes to the vet today to start treating the mange. Harley Belle is good with dogs, cats and children! She will be spayed, microchipped, and treated for mange prior to official adoption. If you think this may the furbaby for you, consider submitting a pre-adoption application.
