HOLLY IS NOW PENDING ADOPTION!

This is Holly! Holly has been in a foster home since February. She is a total delight. The 3 year old resident chihuahua is not a fan of her or she would be a foster fail. She and lil man show some amount of jealousy towards each other. Foster will explain in more detail to any potential adopter. Recommend no small pushy dogs that may snap at her as she will react negatively. It is possible she would be ok with a bigger than a chihuahua dog as long as they aren’t in her face.  Holly totally ignores the cat in the home. She enjoys lounging on the sofa especially after walks. Her leash skills have improved, but she really likes to go back and forth sniffing along the way. She is a puller for the first block, then she settles and walks nicely. She likes to sleep in bed with her person and believes she is entitled to pick her spot in the bed first and her person can find their spot around her. Holly may be missing many teeth, but still loves her dry kibble. Most meals she gets a spoonful of can food as a treat mixed in. Occasionally, she does get up in the middle of the night to go out to potty. We need to realize she is 10 years old and had way too many litters of pups. Us older gals can relate. Her missing eye does not bother her in the least and just adds to her cuteness. She has the saggy belly from her too many litters and a few bumps and lumps from her probably not so great past. Holly has not met a person she didn’t like while with her foster. Young children would need to be gentle and taught to not startle her, especially on the blind side. Overall, Holly is pure sweetness.

Foster may be contacted after adoption application is approved.
