Meet Finn! Finn is a 10-year-old, 43.5 lb. purebred Border Collie who has spent his entire life at a puppy mill living in a barn, never knowing what it’s like to have a family of his own. Since his arrival, he has been working with a trainer and is doing great acclimating to the outside world. Finn gets along with other dogs but definitely prefers the company of people. He isn’t super playful with other dogs and would thrive in a quiet home.

Despite his age, Finn is active and absolutely loves hiking. He has been on 3-6 mile hikes and has kept up the entire time, so a moderately active or weekend warrior type of person would be perfect for him! Finn enjoys going out in public and meeting new people. He would love to visit outdoor patios and breweries with his people.

Someone with herding breed experience would be ideal for a potential adopter, as Finn shows some common Border Collie traits and quirks. Because of this, we also recommend a fenced-in yard or consistent access to an area where he can be safely off-leash. Finn is crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and has had a full dental cleaning.

If you’re looking for a loyal and active companion, Finn might be the perfect addition to your family!
