Meet Duchess! This beautiful gal came to us from a shelter partner in NJ. Duchess is a 12 year old, 138 lb. Mastiff. Her bloodwork looked great. Duchess is currently on meds for her arthritis and is on a prescription diet. Duchess likes to see humans and will whimper if you leave the room. Understandably, Duchess is very heavy to lift for the average person and may need help from time to time if she’s having a harder day. A supporter of RR donated a gorgeous, heavy duty sling to help her and it’s been great! Some days she enjoys walks. We are hopeful she will continue to lose weight! As a gentle reminder, if you have little humans who may want to ride on her like a pony show, it’s not the vibe. This sweetie is spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines.
