Dizzy, 6 years old, Female, Purebred Mini American Shepherd

Current weight: 26.6 lbs

Estimated full grown size:  N/A

Heartworm status: Negative

Special medical 🏥 needs: None known at this time – Spayed and up to date on vaccines

Dog 🐶 friendly?: Yes, Dizzy gets a long great with other dogs, though she can be a bit scared at first.

Cat 🐈 friendly?: Dizzy seems to be indifferent to cats.

Kid friendly?: not much experience with kids, tends to be a bit skittish so older kids would be best

Youngest age of children you’d recommend: 10+

House 🏠 broken?: most of the time.  She will occasionally use potty pads that are out for the other dogs in her foster home

Crate trained?: Yes, and prefers to eat meals in her crate.

Leash trained?: Seems to be, and has a tendency to stay right at your side when on leash.

Travel well in the 🚗?:  Yes

Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰):  6 – She mostly likes to hang with humans and is a big cuddle monster, but she absolutely gets the zoomies from time to time, especially if humans are not around.

Fenced yard required?: Fully fenced yard required for this girl!  She appears to have an aversion to doing her business while leashed

Ideal family dynamic/living situation: Dizzy would do great in any home (older kids if any) and is an absolute Velcro dog. Someone home more often than not would be fantastic since she loves people so much.

Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: Dizzy loves to run and majestically jump over the doggie gates for her smaller friends in her foster home. She is a curious gal that loves to people watch, and regularly sits in the window with a fellow foster to keep watch while the humans are away. Her absolute favorite activity seems to be snuggling with humans.
