Welcoming Diamond, the Dachshund mix. Diamond came to us in partnership with Cecil County Animal Services. This gentle lady is 8-years-old. She was an unclaimed stray and is hoping for a new life & a second chance. She is as sweet and laid back as those dreamy brown eyes make her appear to be.
Her energy level is low to moderate. We believe she would blend into most homes seamlessly. She doesn’t seem to mind other dogs or cats. Would love to see her go to a home with a soft spot for seniors. She is a bit on the skinny side underneath that beautiful fur. Some nice meals and a cozy corner would do her well. She tested negative for Heartworms at the shelter. She will be spayed prior to adoption but she is very healthy thus far and would be a wonderful pet/family member. We encourage you to submit a pre-adoption app for this angel, as she is a sure bet and will not disappoint!
