Say hello to Cookie! Cookie is a 7-year-old senior Bichon Frise who was brought to the rescue after years as a breeding mama. She lived in a crate never having been on grass or in a house. The breeder gave her a bad haircut but her coat and whiskers are growing in nicely. She did well at her first vet visit, has all her shots and will be spayed prior to adoption. She loves other dogs and cats but is hesitant around new people. She is learning to trust, making good progress with house training and has mastered going up and down steps. She is working on walking with a leash, sleeps in her bed, has learned some commands and really enjoys spending time with her people and fur friends.  Cookie has come such a long way in a short amount of time and will be a wonderful additional to your home.
