Project Chesapeake is a rescue of 23 adult, former puppy mill dogs, saved in conjunction with one of our local shelter partners. Prior to their arrival, these pups had never lived indoors, never had a family of their own and have never received love & affection. Now, they are safely in foster homes learning what being a family member is like. They arrived is various stages of distress, despair & fear. As they decompress & become acclimated to their newfound freedom, they will be ready to find their forever homes. All are requiring a fully fenced yard given that they cannot be leash walked.
Meet Columbia! This sweet, cute girl is an approx. 3.5 year old, 10.5 lb., Maltese. Columbia is a little timid at first, up to date on shots & will be spayed & microchipped prior to adoption. Check back for updates!
