Project Chesapeake Part 2 is a rescue of an additional 28 puppies & adult dogs, former puppy mill dogs, saved in conjunction with one of our local shelter partners. Prior to their arrival, these pups had never lived indoors, never had a family of their own and have never received love & affection. Now, they are safely in foster homes learning what being a family member is like. They arrived is various stages of distress, despair & fear. As they decompress & become acclimated to their newfound freedom, they will be ready to find their forever homes. All are requiring a fully fenced yard at this time, given that most cannot yet be leash walked.
Chiefs is a 2.5 year old, 10 lb., male Maltese mix. Although he can be a bit shy, he adores sharing gentle licks with those he cares about. He enjoys taking naps in his crate and is currently making progress with house training. Chiefs is up to date on shots and will be neutered & microchipped prior to adoption. Check back for updates.
