***Please Note: Fosters with our rescue have 2 weeks to decide if they want to “foster fail” and opt to adopt. You’re welcome to submit an app for consideration! As a result of Covid-19, we’ve had to modify our volunteers hours. We appreciate your patience circling back. Thanks for considering adoption!***
We were put in contact with a woman who was breeding dogs on her own and had gotten overwhelmed when, as a result, she ended up with 50 dogs in her house. We’ve been picking them up in small groups, getting them cleaned up, vaccinated & checked out by our vet. The dogs range in ages from puppies to up to 5-years-old.
They are all unsocialized, not house trained, flight risks & never had much human interaction. They also only understand Russian. As a result, some are extremely fearful & skittish while others are quicker to warm up to their new humans. Because of this, even though we list them as “available”, we expect them to stay with their fosters for longer than usual. All will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
Charlie is a 2-year-old, male, Miniature Poodle/Italian Greyhound mix.
