Meet Chapo! Chapo is a handsome purebred German Shepherd who is presently 9-months-old. He was an owner surrender in partnership with Rescue Well.
He’s a great dog who‘d benefit from obedience training and a confident handler with German Shepherd experience. He’s understandably full of puppy energy and we want to make sure he goes to an active family or special person. Chapo’s former owner told us that he did get loose once and toured Baltimore. While we can be an enthusiast for visiting landmarks, those days are over now, champ!
We’d love to see him adopted into a house with a fenced-in yard. This will also enable him to expend that puppy energy to deter unwanted destructive behaviors.
Prior to adoption, Chapo will be current on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. We are told he has a history of being around dogs with mostly no incidents though the current dog in his foster does not want him around.
