BERLIN IS NOW PENDING ADOPTION!

PLEASE NOTE: Fosters have 14 days to decide if they wish to “foster fail” and adopt their foster dog.

Project Chesapeake is a rescue of 23 adult,  former puppy mill dogs, saved in conjunction with one of our local shelter partners.  Prior to their arrival, these pups had never lived indoors, never had a family of their own and have never received love & affection.  Now, they are safely in foster homes learning what being a family member is like.  They arrived is various stages of distress, despair & fear.  As they decompress & become acclimated to their newfound freedom, they will be ready to find their forever homes. All are requiring a fully fenced yard given that they cannot be leash walked.

Say hi to Berlin! Berlin is a timid, 2 year old, Poodle mix who is up to date on shots and will be neutered & microchipped prior to adoption,  He enjoys playing with his toys and other dogs & is currently being fostered with Blake. He’s working on house training and walking on a leash. Berlin does greatin his crate where he sleeps all night. He eats well and like a lot of these dogs, he is still very scared. Dog respectful children should be okay as he is slow to warm up. Berlin is just learning to trust humans. He needs a fenced yard and humans with lots of patience.
