Say hello to Belle! This beautiful 3-year-old needs to find a new home after unsuccessfully living with another female Aussie Cattle Dog. The older dog was continually aggressive to Belle who didn’t quite get that the other dog wanted to be left alone. The inevitable fight ensued & while trying to break them up, the owner received a redirected nip from Belle. Belle also sustained some injuries from her canine sibling requiring veterinary care. While sad to see Belle leave them, her family realizes that this is best for both dogs.
Belle really is a good dog! She is good with people including little kids (currently lives with a 5 and a 6 year old). She is 60 lbs., house trained, up to date on vaccinations & spayed. Breed experience would be a good idea. Given her previous experience, she would be best as an only dog. Please consider giving her a new furever home. You can even try foster-to-adopt to ensure she’s a good fit. She will be evaluated by our vet & a team member prior to any meet & greets.
