Beau, or Bo-Bo as he is called, is a sweet, 10 year old Chihuahua who fell on some sad times when his owners passed away. Luckily his neighbor (and guardian angel) reached out to rescue and prevented him from going to the shelter. Beau may take a few days to relax and open up, but when he does he is a total snuggle bug!! He loves attention and will shower you with lots of kisses! He is very attached to one of his toys, and does sometimes resource guard, but is much better now that he is comfortable. He gets along with other small dogs (but doesn’t like when they come on strong), and also gets along with cats. He is a finicky eater, but warming up to dog food and away from people food. He walks well on a leash and is current on vaccines, is heartworm negative, and microchipped. He does have a cherry eye, and had surgery, but it is not 100%.
