My name is Bear. I‘m 15 years young, but don‘t be dissuaded, I‘m a refined gentleman who still has some gas left in the tank. I was dropped at a shelter when my last family didn‘t want a houseguest anymore. I admit it, I had no idea what was going on and I was really confused. I’d been put on death row, but thankfully Renee’s Rescues got me out of NC just in time. I‘ve settled into my temporary digs here in DE and I‘ve been getting along good with the 5 other pups here, even the puppy. My buddy Silas gave me a nice bath when I arrived and I feel like a new dog now. I tend to guard my toys a little, not the best at sharing but I‘m working on that. I can‘t do much damage anyway because my teeth are mostly worn out. Haha. I do have a touch of hip dysplasia but I still get around just fine and even go up and down the steps in the house. I‘m hoping to find a home where I can relax, go for walks and get loved on. If you think I might be a good fit, reach out and let‘s meet and see how it goes.
