Meet Bailey! She’s a beautiful, 5 month old Shepherd mix who is up to date on shots and will be spayed & microchipped. Bailey LOVES her play time running around the yard or chewing on a bone. When she tires herself out, she’ll stretch out in the grass to rest or take a nap in her crate. She doesn’t discriminate on toys, they are all welcome and she will proudly run around the house with the toy hanging from her mouth in victory if she won it from another resident dog.
Potty training is a work in process, but she will do the usual puppy pacing when she needs to go. If you pick up on the pacing, and take her out in time, she does her business accordingly and runs back in the house and sits for her treat reward. Therefore, she knows sit and she understands ‘No’.
She currently sleeps in her crate all night and when no one is home. She will whine for a few minutes, but then settles in for a cozy snooze.
Bailey would do best with a playmate or a lot of exercise as she has tons of energy. Due to this energy, cats have not been fond of her. She welcomes snuggles too, but doesn’t demand her human’s attention at all times.
