Meet Angel! Angel came to us in partnership with Cecil County Animal Services. This sassy little lady came to us after her owner became ill. From the look of her physical condition when she arrived, her owner was not able to properly care for her for quite some time. She was significantly underweight, had a severe skin infection from flea bites, with huge scabs all over her body and was missing patches of hair all over her little body. She had decaying teeth and horrible breath. Buuuuuut that was then….and this is now!!! She’s a new girl!! Gaining weight, skin cleared, hair growing back, rotten teeth removed and her adorable personality has come flying through!!
Here are some of her favorite things~
*Being around and snuggling with people! So much so that she doesn’t care about personal space boundaries. She will walk all over you to get to her snuggle spot and then burrow in. She for sure she is a bed snuggler and letting her sleep with you at night is a MUST!
*Playing with other dogs! Her buddy in her foster home is a 60lb Rotti mix! She isn’t afraid of the size difference and will go head to head with him! We just cannot believe she has been aged at 12 yrs old and feel as though she was given that number based on her poor health condition when she arrived at the shelter. This little love has so much energy that she doesn’t seem more that 9-10yrs old.
*Eating!! Anything!! She has not shown any food aggression in her foster home and is polite in respecting those around her are also eating. She gets so excited at meal times that she will become a jumping bean and holler at you if your are taking too long!
*Exploring the yard and sunning herself in the warm sunshine.
This little lady will be a wonderful addition to any home looking for a loving, affectionate and spunky companion. She makes her foster family laugh daily and is just so endearing to everyone she meets. She has wonderful energy and loving spirit. She is housebroken. And I cannot believe we have not mentioned her ears yet!!!! They are absolutely priceless and her signature, don’t you think?!?!
