Welcome Akira!  Akira is a friendly, beautiful female 1.5 year old Lab who loves to play and snuggle. Housebroken and great on a leash, she’s the whole package who’ll fit in great with a loving family right from the start. And do you have other dogs? Great news! Akira LOVES other dogs and just wants to play and have fun. She’s respectful and understands when another dog says “that’s enough” but if they’re up for a game she’s all in! At home she really likes being with her people and snuggling on the couch. She’ll make a little nest against your side while you watch TV and just go right to sleep. If you’re working from home, she’ll take a chewy, a toy, and just hang out while you work, ready to provide a snuggle or a play break whenever you need it. She wants to please her people and if she does something that’s against your home rules, all you have to say is a gentle “no girl” and she’ll stop immediately. She can be a little shy with new people at first, but her trust is easily given and once you have it, she’s yours. Akira is looking for a loving home, ideally with some activity and maybe other playful dogs for fun romps.  Akira is spayed & up to date on vaccines.
