Say hello to Whitman! Whitman, a gentle and affectionate approximately, 9-year-old pup, is looking for a peaceful and comfortable home to live out his senior days in comfort. Despite his age, Whitman remains an active and playful dog, enjoying walks and sniffing throughout the neighborhood. He also loves playing with other dogs, trying his best to match their energy level.
Whitman enjoys the company of humans and will happily follow you around the house, but he usually prefers to keep his distance, preferring to take naps in a quiet corner.
A potential adopter should know that Whitman has some age-related medical issues due to being intact. However, we hope these problems will resolve after his neuter surgery, which is scheduled for April 21st. While he has been a bit defensive of his hind area, we hope he will no longer be so after the surgery.
Whitman is slow to open up to new people, but once he does his happy personality shines through once he feels comfortable in his new surroundings!
