Meet Polly!
Polly is a 7 month old, female terrier mix

Current weight:   ~11lbs

Estimated full grown size:   Small, less than 20lbs

Heartworm status:  negative

Special medical 🏥 needs:  spay scheduled mid June

Dog 🐶 friendly?:  yes she loves them

Cat 🐈 friendly?:  unknown

Kid friendly?:  yes

Youngest age of children you’d recommend: probably 6 and up. Polly is still learning manners and she jumps a lot. A dog savvy child or someone a little bigger would probably be best.

House 🏠 broken?: still working on it. She loves being outside and will potty, but still has some accidents in the house

Crate trained?:  yes but she doesn’t love it

Leash trained?: does very well on the leash

Travel well in the 🚗?:  she gets a little nervous but if someone is holding her, she loves to look out the window

Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): Polly is probably a 6-7. She definitely gets zoomies and crazy energy but she’s also a great snuggle buddy and content to nap on the couch with you. She’s still very young so I would think she will mellow more with time.

Fenced yard required?: she would love a fenced yard to run in but she does well being leash walked

Ideal family dynamic/living situation: Polly would do great with any family. She’s young and has already settled in with her foster family. She loves having someone with her and would thrive with a family who can spend a lot of time with her. She also enjoys playing with her foster dog siblings so I think she would love a buddy.

Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: Polly LOVES toys! Particularly balls. She always has a toy in her mouth or by her side. She likes to play fetch and will happily drop her ball for you to throw again.

Anything special/unique that makes your foster stand out?  My first impression of Polly was high energy. But honestly, she settled a lot over the first few days. I think she is incredibly curious, she likes to explore every area she can. But she’s very cuddly and sweet. She likes to be touching you if you’re sitting down or laying down. She will curl right into you. She is the perfect mix of sassy and sweet.
