Say hello to Penny and Ray Ray! This sweet pair of bonded seniors are looking for a for a new home after their previous owner passed away. Don’t let their age fool you–these two love going for walks and spending time outside just as much as they like taking naps and warming laps for their chosen people!
Penny is a sweet ‘n sassy 9 year old, spayed, female Yorkie mix who needs a little time to warm up to new people but will be a fierce protector once she adopts a person! She loves to sit at the window and people watch, and will be sure to let the house know if anyone is passing by. Penny currently lives with other dogs of all sizes and does fine, but does occasionally try to chase the cat who lives with her; she won’t do anything more than chase and bark a few times, and would probably be fine living with dog-savvy cat(s) in a forever home. She enjoys going on slow walks, and also really loves sunbathing when it is warm outside. Penny does sometimes need assistance jumping up onto furniture or beds, but would be fine with a set of doggy stairs provided for her use.
Penny and Ray Ray are both up to date on shots, must be adopted together and would be a great addition to just about any home that would open their hearts to them. We would suggest no extremely energetic dogs who might get rough with them, and children old enough to understand that Penny sometimes needs her space.
Both Penny & Ray Ray’s adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor!
