Judy (aka Lea), 5 year old, female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Current weight: 17 lbs.
Heartworm status: negative and on preventatives
Special medical 🏥 needs: needs spay & dental
Dog 🐶 friendly?: yes – relaxed and unphased
Cat 🐈 friendly?: no – would love to guard you and defend you from them
Kid friendly?: yes, completely, loves to cuddle with 6yo brother. Dog savvy kids of any age will be fine with supervision.
House 🏠 broken?: yes, with supervision and direction on where to go. Suggest you gradually give her free reign of your home, as she can confuse rugs with pee pads until you show her where to go.
Crate trained?: yes, does best in it when it’s dark.
Leash trained?: getting used to it and will follow you, need to use a harness for walks bc her neck is the same size as her head.
Travel well in the 🚗?: yes
Energy level (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being total couch 🥔, 10 the energizer 🐰): 2
Fenced yard required?: no, but it’s cute to watch her prance around a fenced area with the wind in her ears and her tail up.
Ideal family dynamic/living situation: any!!
Favorite toys 🧸 🎾 and activities: loves tp cuddle on you, resting her chin on your arm, loves her lambchop stuffy, laying on blankets, and getting pet.
Anything special/unique that would make your foster pup stand out? She’s pretty much the perfect lap dog companion! She lived with her mom, so she likes being a constant buddy and licking you or family dogs, but she’s also perfectly content napping and snoring the day away in her bed.
